What is the 8-8 Lion's Gate and how can it help me?
For as long as I can remember I have always been fascinated by the pyramids, and the Goddesses and God's of Egypt, and it was only as an adult that I realised the energetic significance of this mighty place and great beings.
This is of particular interest right now, as we move towards 8th August (8-8 Lionsgate) which is known as the Lion's Gate. As the star Sirius rises, the Pyramids of Giza are aligned with Orion's Belt. The Great Egyptian God Osiris is connected to Orion and Goddess Isis is connected to Sirius. The portal actually opens between 28th July and 12th August with 8th August being the most powerful in terms of energy.
This gateway is marked by an alignment between the Earth and the star Sirius. Sirius is twice the size of our Sun and 26x brighter! So you can see why the Lion's Gate is such a profound and powerful source of spiritual light.
In Egypt our twin sun, Sirius appears on the same day, right before our sun rises in the same place on the horizon during this time. It is only visible for a short period before our own sun rises and our world explodes into the light of dawn. The Sphinx is looking right at Sirius and our sun while this gate is open.
The energy from Sirius and the Lions Gate focus on creating abundance, reaping the harvest and heightened fertility. So for us, right now, this is powerful time for manifestation, love and prosperity. We can also connect in with the energies of the most powerful Egyptian Goddesses and Gods both at this time and in the future.
Why The Lion's Gate?
Because the gateway happens on 8th August in the Zodiac sign of Leo, the mighty lion. Leo is linked to the heart centre and connected to the expression of Source. This fearsome lion energy is perfect to cement in the light codes and energies travelling through Sirius and our Sun, at this time. If you happen to be a Leo, Taurus, Scorpio or Aquarius - you will feel the energy of the lions gate more prominently in your system.
These super-powerful energies cascade upon our planet offering us an opportunity to upgrade along our ascension path.
This portal offers us the most exciting opportunity to leave our old ways behind, and propels us at a rapid rate towards the 5D world (if we are willing to go and want to, as we have freewill).
This Lionsgate will be more colossal than usual, as this year has already been one of much change and transformation.
So, this brings up an important question:
How do you tune in and access the powerful energies available to you during this powerful time?
Find a quiet spot to lay down, and slow your breathing down to a rhythmic 6-3-6-3 flow (breath in for 6, hold for 3, out for 6 and hold for 3), do this until your mind is quiet, if it starts to chatter again, focus back in on your breath.
Focus on your heart chakra in the middle of your chest (this is not your physical heart but the energetic centre), and feel it start to expand, heating up as it does so.
Connect in with your higher self and ask to be guided and protected you as you connect with the energy of Sirius through the Lions Gate portal, and then just be. If your mind starts to wander, go back to your breathing cycle.
Relax in this beautiful energy for as long as you are able to, thank your higher self and beautiful Sirius and then slowly return to your body and open your eyes.
